I've discovered that I need to be in a certain mood to blog. I need to have something that I want to talk about but the last few days have been pretty boring therefore I have nothing I would like to discuss!
I was thinking about discussing hands and how much I suck at drawing them but I couldn't find a file on my computer where I had drawn some hand examples so until I find that file, there shall be no hands.
I was also thinking of creating one of those grid things that display your drawing progress and discussing it here but that would involve some effort. I'll maybe put one together later this week.
On a brighter side, I did draw something that I will post. I drew it especially for this blog! :)
I was too lazy to fix up the eye on the right hand side.
A place where I can dump things I like + my drawings and sketches for you to see and hopefully like!

Old Habits Die Hard
I have a horrible habit when it comes to digital painting on the computer.
My problem starts when I begin to paint layer upon layer so much so that when I want to erase a line I need to look through my tens of layers to find where I painted the line -- mystupid silly shortcut you ask?
To create yet another layer and use white paint.
The negative? When I want a transparent background or to fill in the background with a colour other than white I get white splotches everywhere! D:
I've tried to stop, and I have succeeded somewhat by limiting how much white paint and layers I use but my laziness is still kicking strong.
So, do you have any bad habits that you can't stop? I'd love to hear comments!! I'm sure I'm not the only with bad habits. Right?
And here is another sketch I leave. This is the style I'm aiming for, I'm searching for 'character.' (..yeah I probably sound like a lunatic)
(Critique: I can't stand his hair at the moment -_-).

Elena
Elena?
Who is this Elena?
Who is this Elena?
Well, Elena is my one and only BJD (Ball Joint Doll). I received her early last year after a month of waiting. She remains shoeless to this day and still pesters me about purchasing her some glass eyes but, in despite of this, I continue to love photographing her.
Surprisingly, I never thought to draw her with my good old trusty wacom tablet... until now.
So here is my first sketch of Elena and my first post on my first blog.
That sure is a lot of firsts!
